Tutorial: Makeup for Masks

There is a reason they say eyes are a window to your soul, and with face coverings becoming highly advisable and mandatory in some areas, now is the perfect time to brush up your eye makeup skills to really make them stand out! There are some tricks to bear in mind whilst navigating wearing a face covering over half of your face, but there is no reason you shouldn’t still feel and look fabulous!

Our top tips for wearing makeup with masks:

  1. Using the right jane iredale tools and makeup brushes helps with application, increasing the longevity of makeup for the day and lessens transference.

  2. Concentrated mineral pigments used in jane iredale products gives the mineral powder superior adherence so that it rarely transfers or needs touching up.

  3. Set your Liquid Eyeliner with a similar eyeshadow shade to help it set and last longer.

  4. Avoid wearing a sticky lip product like Lip Gloss, opt for something matte and moisturising such as sheer Lip Drink or a Lip Pencil.
